59 bedrooms in total, and has a friendly,
family atmosphere. Our accommodation is
made up 57
single rooms and 1
shared rooms. We also have a number of en-suite
bedrooms. |

Shannon Court Nursing Home is recognised as a home of excellence in providing nursing care for elderly residents who have suffered either physical or mental deterioration. We provide a caring, stimulating atmosphere where all residents are encouraged to achieve their potential. In order to assist in this we currently offer, in addition to our nursing care, nutrional personalised diets, dedicated activities staff, massage and relaxation therapy, hair salon and much more. Each of these services are contained within a purpose built facility within Shannon Court. We also have a state of the art laundry service and a modern fire protection system.

A wide range of
activities and social events are regularly organised,
such as wine and cheese parties, pub lunches in the
Bolton area, mobile
cinema, card and board games, slide shows and many more.
Occasionally we have talks by visiting speakers, exercise
classes and bingo sessions.
Shannon Court
is well served by the visiting library. From time to
time, Bolton community
groups and staff provide entertainment for the residents.
Birthdays of residents are always celebrated. We encourage
our residents to take part in the many activities available
locally, such as WI meetings, religious services etcetera. |
